Ancient City Is Found In Africa, by Nobody: 3:39am On Jul 30, 2016 |
Scientists have made these photos from the space. They reveal a huge city and its territory amounted to over 1500 sq. kilometers! And that’s not all they have found. They think the settlement was just a part of a larger community. Ancient city is found in Africa, you won't believe who built it All these villages and cities covered over 10 000 sq. kilometers of territory. They are supposedly dating 160-200 thousand years B.C. From the ground, the remains of the towns look like huge circles. Locals have seen them and thought they were built by old tribes. READ ALSO: Roads you would never want to drive on No one ever tried to excavate there and find out who were the mystery builders. Here is what one of the archeologists says: Ancient city is found in Africa, you won't believe who built it “When Johan first introduced me to the ancient stone ruins of southern Africa, he had no idea of the incredible discoveries we would make in the following years. The photographs, artifacts and evidence we accumulated, point towards a lost civilization that has never before been and precedes all others – not for a few hundred years, or a few thousand years … but many thousands of years.”... ( Then the story goes ahead and suggests it was aliens who built it ) https://tuko.co.ke/162234-city-found-africa-200-000-years-old-must-see-photos.html

Did I read correctly: 200,000 BC? Some people can't see the meaning of this and it's impact on established history, especially religious history. |

If the dating is correct (200,000 BC!), then it turns everything we know about human history on its head. |

Exactly! Not just religion but the entire science that has anything to do with human origins. That's why most experts do not discuss it. You are right. 200 000 seems too much. I've never trusted the dating technology |

I looked around. It seems the site was never radiocarbon-dated. The 200,000 BC date was arrived at using a very questionable method (not accepted in mainstream archaeological circles) that involved some kind of astronomy. Michael Tellinger (the guy who spearheaded the mission) doesn't appear to be either a qualified historian or a qualified archaeologist, though he has written some controversial books on the subjects. On the face of it, the date is very odd. Our species, Homo sapiens, is held to have appeared about 200,000 BC, same period as the date. That doesn't give any room for us to develop to the stage where we were able to build structures like these. It's like human beings appeared and just went straight to building cities. Doesn't make sense. Perhaps, that's why they tried to say aliens did it. 2 Likes |

The story about 200000 years old ruins is nothing but a hoax. http://pseudoarchaeology.leadr.msu.edu/bakoniruins/ |
