Nigerians really surprise me sometimes. Is this all fayose has for ekiti state? What happens after his tenure expires? The state and the still remain as they are. This is clearly clueless about governance. No vision at all 1 Like |

Op, what has Oshiomole's name and actions got to do with public showcasing by your 'great' governor Fayose? For your information, as a result of serious and good governance, Edo state can now survive without waiting for Federal allocation, courtesy of Oshiomole's re-engineering of governance in Edo state. Also note that Oshiomole does not owe the state workers any backlog of salaries. In a nutshell, Oshiomole is a serious governor and not a ponmo type. 3 Likes |

AngelAhnie: The reason most Nigerians see nothing wrong with a person like fayose has multiple reasons. First and foremost, the brain size of an average Nigerian is no bigger than that of a mouse which is why their thought process is somewhat limited. Plus, Nigerians have been fed bad leadership for over half a century, that they don't know what good leadership is. There is nothing to compare to. This is the reason why since independence, Nigeria has not had one single leader that was decent. The funny thing is Nigerians are shocked as to why the country is the way it is. 5 Likes |

emeijeh:Did you seriously made this comment? When did Oshiomole made the famous "go and die " statement? Was it not during his first term? Did he not win his re-election? You people just like unnecesary comparism? Why not compared him with a governor like Ambode who Lagos state people see as a man who is delivering dividend of democracy? What can you tall me about a man that is a joke, who can't even boast of anything tangible except to cut ponmo and eat ewa agonyin. 1 Like |

Flashh: Send Ambode to Ekiti and Fayose to Lagos and after some months of governance come and ask the question again, how can you compare Lagos to Ekiti state, have you forgotten so soon that Lagos was once the Capital of Nigeria. Read history before you open your mouth(hater spotted noni) |

some Nigerians with poor mentality. i believe helping the less privilege doesn't stop him not to still develop the state. I believe it takes great mind to do what he has being doing. In this hard time if you ask an hungry man to choose between infrastructure and food. we all know what he or she will choose. |

Steal billions from the people and put up a show for them once in a while. Buy beans from a street hawker, buy roasted corn on the street andinvite enough camera men and tabloid press to the "corn buying" event and you're suddenly a man of the people, or a governor "loved by his people". Ayo Fayose has stolen so much from people who entrusted their money and resources to him, albeit through a rigged election. He will die a tragic death. 1 Like |

tunderay: Even if it was said during his first month in office, should such a word come from a chief servant of Edo State if you don't know that is what a Governor suppose to be like Fayose of Ekiti state of thriving with the little he has as resources and also coming close to the people to let them know that he is one of them |
Re: Fayose And A Physically-Challenged Man: Compared With Oshiomhole by MadCow1: 9:52pm On Jul 30, 2016 |
Fayose is an alms giver not a Governor. Oshomole telling a petty trader whose wares got destroyed for illegally trading in a no-Trade-Zone is definitely bad approach wise. But using Fayose's alms giving to present him as a better Governor is not working. All he did in that photo was give a disabled man some money which will feed him for a week max, but if he did his job well and created the proper environment for that disabled man to thrive, he wouldn't need to give him alms. Let's not muddle the lines on good governance and alms giving. Fayose is governing a State that is on the brink of bankruptcy. Workers are unpaid for months. Presence of big Business in the State is virtually none existent. What is he doing about that? Giving Yams and cash to the people is not sustainable and does not make him a good governor. 6 Likes 3 Shares |
