A fatal accident between an Armoured Car and a keke Driver in Yenagoa. A fatal accident involving a Military armoured car and a tricycle, popularly known as KekeNapep occurred early hours of today, 30th July 2016 along Chief Melford Okilo road, in front of BestBuy shopping mall in the state capital. The accident recorded four casualties with serious injuries involving all four passengers, including the Keke driver and his passengers. According to an eyewitness who was selling at junction said the accident happened within a twinkle of an eye. She said: “I don’t even know how to explain what happened, it was so fast, all I saw was the keke entering the road and a loud sound, and the keke was compressed with its passengers on the floor, it is believed the keke driver must have entered the road without properly checking if there was in coming vehicle unknown to the driver the Military Armored Car was coming with top speed”. The Victims involved has been taken to an undisclosed hospital for emergency treatment by the Operation Delta Safe. http://www.innocentiruka.com/news/keke-driver-crushed-military-yenagoa/ |
