Bravo! Scroll down to the buttom of facebook mobile and see it. Hausa, the international and well known language is now added to other continental languages like English, French etc on Facebook.
[quote/]Popular social media platform,
Facebook, with over 1.8 billion
users worldwide, is now available in
Hausa language.
To switch your language setting to
Hausa, navigate to your settings,
click on “Language” on the left
menu and then edit the “What
language do you want to use
Facebook in” setting.
Facebook is also available in some
other languages: Malagasy in
Madagascar, Tamazight in
Morocco, Somali in Somalia,
Sardinian in Italy, Irish in Ireland,
Silesian in Poland and Czech
Republic, and Faroese in Faroe
Island.
Facebook on Monday said it was
delighted to add Hausa to its list of
languages so that people who speak
Hausa can now connect with their
friends on Facebook.
Back when Facebook started, the
team created the Translate
Facebook app so that the Facebook
community could translate the
service and it could then be
available to people all over the
world.
To this day, that is still the case.[/quote]

This is a good news. I expect them to expand this to include more indigenous Nigerian and African languages. #WeCanOnlyBetter

Great news....this underlines the fact that Hausa is a language spoken internationally by over 39 million people across northern Nigeria, Niger, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, CAR, Chad, Congo, Eritrea, Germany, Ghana, Sudan and Togo.

It also buttresses Facebook's widening reach and membership.

Proudly Arewa.

Nice one, facebook is also available in "èdè Yorùbá" (yoruba language) for sometimes now.
But the marginalization of our Indonasians brothers by facebook is not good oo and we shall not take it.
