As we gear towards the release of the “already potentially awesome and powerful” Galaxy Note 7; from Samsung, more pictures and information arise.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will feature what is said to be the most powerful and precise S Pen yet. It also promises water resistance, fast auto-focus and low-light capabilities. A dual-edge Super Amoled Display and 64GB of built-in storage that’s expandable with microSD card (up to 256GB) are also part of the many potential features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 . Awesome, ain’t it

It is however not to be mistaken for Note 6; The company is skipping a numeral this year and calling the phablet the Galaxy Note 7, instead of the Galaxy Note 6. The company has announced that it has taken this step to avoid confusion among its customers, and unify its product portfolio. Samsung released the S7 and S7 Edge this year in its flagship Galaxy ‘S’ series, and bringing its Note series to the same numeral made sense to it.

Samsung is looking to make the Galaxy Note7 available to buy, before the Rio Summer Olympics kick off on August 5; where it is the official wireless partner.
