I didn't play any role in the female or male pagentry and thus might not have full info. But what ran freely were threats of blackmail. People threatening to share and spread compromizing or personal information about others online. Information that once gleaned from an earlier friendly exchange. Should we now assume every potential PM is a future blackmailer ? Why should a decent person store chats of friends to use against them in future ? Why should people kiss and tell on their friends online?

It's getting really crazy o. What some NL'ers can do to get back at you for offending them, like what happened to the good times you shared when the going was good?. The recent trend of sharing private screen shots and exposing people's boobs is just the height of it. I won't blame females that don't want to get close to any nairalander at this point.

Now you get a friendly PM from someone, and you start to wonder, "could this be someone I have offended coming with a new moniker so that he can share some screenshots?"

(1) Incessant attacks on out spoken females.: once a lady is outspoken and slightly popular. Just wait awhile and a thread accusing her of being a man would pop up. In as much as I believe it best to shame men behind female monickers (what kind of gay shit is that). Its callous and extremely shameful to attack women simply because they are outspoken, opinionated, popular or even intelligent. Take a look at sandoski , mizzbouqui , mimzy, refiner , ladyF , estharfabian (my hidden crusah whom I don't even know , nor wanna know), mrsphyno etc once they rode on some popularity and out spokenness, enjoying their God given freedom to express themselves, people (enemies) found ways to shut them up with unfounded and crazy accusation. Yet we complain our nigerian women are laid back, yet many feel threatened by them. Its truly shameful.

(3) Threats to life via cultism: who does such in a modern clime. Who has time for such immbecilic behaviour. You come to real life and instead of chasing money, you talking bullshit about campus madness. What do u bloody know about violence. Yet you see dem kids on little provocation threatening confra action.

As to points 2 & 3, if you(not referring to you ooo, Mr Sumborri, it's 3rd person plural) haven't learnt to be coy about private info, NL would teach you some sense. You don't reveal sensitive info about urself to someone you haven't met or someone you haven't built confidence in.
Basically NL is an informative blog for me, I come here at leisure times, get updated, feel the pulse of Nigerians from the comments and ofcus have a good laugh. NL is comic relief.
That's not taking anything away from some wonderful persons I have met here, ironically I don't know their monikers and I don't care to know. The personality is more important the name.

Don't tell us he attacked you first or he insulted you, that's exactly the sort of motions others go through when they "attack" a female moniker online. Many ladies post annoying stuffs, stuffs worthy of bashing. It's only fair they get their due, not because they're ladies buh becos of their opinion.
