The Awka branch of the Nigerian society of Engineers yesterday smiled home with a eighteen seater bus courtesy of the Governor Obiano administration.

The Engineers, led by its chairman, engineer Sylvester Ofodile, in apparent show of appreciation for the gesture joyfully breezed into the premises of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Awka, to register their support to Governor Obiano administration which they said is engineering friendly.
Engineer Ofodile who described the government’s relationship with the engineers in the state as cordial went down memory and recounted how they went to the Governor to solicit for his assistance in the area of logistic.
The engineers pledged to use the bus for their day to day activities assuring that they will continue to give the governor the desired support.
In their separate speeches, Engineers Nkalu Chukwuemeka, Rita Ofojama, Emeka Okafor as well as Engineer Paul Okoye of the ABS, among others thanked the Governor for the gesture promising that they will
