I put it to NCC THAT THEY ARE LYING.

After i saw Visafone and Multilinks listed as active CDMA (data and voice providers) i just can't weep for my Country as people in authority always chun out lies and deceit at will.

WHILE MTN HAS TAKEN OVER VISAFONE SINCE ABOUT 4MONTHS NOW, MULTILINKS ON THE OTHER HAND HAS BEEN TOTALLY DEAD OVER A YEAR AGO.

While didn't NCC also include Celtel, Mobitel, Starcomms, Intercellular and VGC telecoms?

The ONLY CDMA surviving company in Lagos right now aside Visafone which MTN has taken over is 21st Century telecoms.

By the way, while wasn't Swift Network, Spectranet, Smile and other internet providers included?

what kind of foolish news is this? this is common fluctuation and it's not newsworthy. fluctuations are bound to happen anywhere. imagine reporting a meagre 81,000 decrease out of 92.2 million subscribers. these ncc people should find better things to do with their time, not slapping fines on investors and reporting useless statistics.

The only thing i learnt is that while the likes of mtn, glo and Etisalat subscribers were reducing, airtel subscribers increased
Even in this hard times

Airtel making life easy for users

If not for airtel, data prices would have still been sky high, they forced the others and brought competition, creating a fair level playing ground

Goodnews fellas, this is just the beginning, expect data prices to keep coming down low

thought i was the only one who disagree. I know the rigorous complaint resolve on a daily basis including data subscription for the telecommunication company i work for and people are still dying to make enquiries.

Don't blame any company for poor network, each location has the network that work best, thats just the truth, it is not supposed to be so though, but that is the situation we find ourselves in in this country.

Let's see the survey that led to that hasty generalization NCC.

Madam, read d news properly. Glo had the highest increase with over 200,000+ increase. And that's cos of their cheap data plans launched recently

There is no light to charge phone these days let alone having money to buy data. The telcos knows this and I believe it's the reason for the reduction competition in data prices
