People don't get buried with anything that cannot decompose. That's in my place.

Even when a corpse was dressed up in nice clothes, shoes, etc. It's only for viewing. When the viewing is done, the casket is taken inside the house where the dead person is undressed and clothed in plain cotton fabric made very simple. No unnecessary seams, buttons or zippers, only cotton and thread. If the hair was done it is undone, and combed straight with an Afro comb. No attachments of any kind, no plaiting. Then the casket is sealed for burial.
