Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been given permission to undergo a medical with Manchester United, a spokesperson for the Italian club has said. The French midfielder has been linked with a world record transfer to Old Trafford for much of the summer, with reports indicating both a fee and personal details have been agreed. However, there had yet to be any official comment from either club, with just one week to go before the start of the Premier League season. But now, the Serie A club have formally announced that Pogba has been given permission to travel to Manchester to undergo a medical before his move back to the Red Devils is finalised.
