Rio 2016 organizers have come under strong criticism after a series of serious injuries were suffered barely three (3) days into the Games.

There have been a series of high-profile casualties with athletes suffering broken legs and collarbones, fractured backs and neck injuries.

While some of the incidents have been unavoidable, others have occurred due to poor organisation. This has further left many wondering if the Games in Rio could be the most dangerous ever.
