the crowd was so much and they were only few vehicles at the the garage, it was late i had no choice so i board a very thight bus i had to manage the squeez, all through the journey getting to my bustop, as i was trying to alight from the bus, suddenly a lady stepped forward pressed herself against me as it was such a crowded area i tried to shrug her off ,but didnt mange to, An elder female about 40 suddenly hit me from behind i lossed balance i tried to glare at her but my attention was distracted obviously some one deeped hand into my bag i felt it i tried to force my self out, afterward i realized my money had gone wow! I immediately ran towards the lady as she was really walking so fast... I stopped her, greeted her i thought it was something we could handle amicably not involving anyone else i spoke to her politely
'Ma i knew you deep your hand into my bag and made away with my money' awww she shouted 'e be like say u dey craze which money you see me? Ah she said some things in her language ' gosh i was confused i still couldnt believe my eyes before i could raise my head she started calling people explaining shi to them i have a tiny voice so my voice couldn't beat hers everyone paid more attention to her cos she speaks the language they all understood, omg i was dudumbfounded i spoke to few people who advised me to let her go since there was no evidence.. But i saw her even as at that moment the money was in her hand no one believed me she had crews who defended her i gat vexed and i left the place!! It was really a horrible experience ...

OP. Next time, when dealing with a thief act like one. If it was me God knows they would Lynch her that night. Now I believe you know how much was in your bag. Next time you let her explain finish and then you ask everyone to please ask her how much she has in her hand since it is her own money she should know. I am sure she does not know considering she just got caught. Next time I hope you use such sense.

I can remember vividly my first pick pocket experience it was during summer of 2014. We were on holiday in Barcelona due to the fact i could not speak Spanish, I got lost and decided to ask a guy passing by I was glad the guy could speak a little English. He directed me back to my route and we shook hands and he gave me a path on the back... 5 mins later I discovered my wristwatch was not on my hand and my backpack was wide open he stole my tourist passport and the money in my backpack.
Pickpockets in Barcelona are experts how he stole my wristwatch from my hand still baffles me

Its gud u let her go cos she had passed your purse to another person n m sure some of those people who asked u to leave her might be one of her gangs so that's gone but God will restore u with plenty cash soon next tym either in d bus wherever u notice someone getting too tight to u or pressing u hard. Before they remove u, remove yourself by putting your purse n phone on your hand. 1 guy tried that with me. Before he remove me I already removed myself n he told me not to try run or else he wud shoot me. So I told him to bring out d gun b4 I can believe him as deep one of his hand into his geans. I told him u b Bariga boy abi Bariga boy chichi u no go get. As he was moving closer I was pushing him back my babe turned behind him n distracted him with great challenge that was how I was able to move away from his front n pack all my purse n phone to my baby n ask my babe to be going in front. Telling d guy that if he have lever he should cross me. He said I want to die n I told him that he wud just be wasting his bullet nothing go happen. In my mind I was begging God to save me n planning in my mind to go on my knee if I c anything that looks like gun. After leaving d scene my babe stopped n told me she wants to watch ova d guy I refused. While I was dragging her I notice d guys started coming together. I counted them they were 8. So I dragged her off

Just yesterday (Sunday) I passed through Oshodi on my way home to Egbeda; i was coming from ojuelegba with my bicycle so I decided to pass through under the bridge at Oshodi that is my route on sunday evenings I had to stop driving and push the bicycle across the pedestrian pavement under the bridge and that place is usually crowded with pedestrians; I was wearing my bag on my back and all of a sudden I noticed a pick-pocket opening my bag under bridge close to where BRT use to load; I checked my bag and saw he had taken my phone and when i caught him opening my bag he punched away; I complained to the guy selling BRT ticket; he said I should lock my bag well and go and tell police or soldier around that they will help me to catch them; the phone they took is my only phone which I'm using to even browse; I decided to go and meet the area boys and told one of them immediately he brought out the phone and told me that He saw the person that took the phone from my bag and he was the one who pursued the guy; caught him and collected the phone that my SIM that is important that He wants to give me the phone; what will I give him; they eventually returned my phone without collecting anything.

To start with, there is nothing like " a pocket picker". I do not want to start pointing out the numerous blunders in this post of yours. We all make mistakes but these ones you have here are not the usual types one can overlook. Honestly, if you dedicate half of the time you spend here on nairaland to doing other meaningful things like studying, you would be far better off. This writeup is terrible!
