In this Buhari dry economy, workers are still being owed salaries? Some employers are wicked oh. They must be following the example of the useless governors we have like Ajumobi, Oshiomole, Aregbesola, Okorocha etc. |

jhydebaba: Gabbyraze: Tell them oo my brothers. The head of the company was on TVC News Hours 4pm today and shed light on the reason for their strike action without given any prior notification. According to him, it wasn't a matter of unpaid salaries but performance bonuses. Initially their basic salary was #60K while accident bonus was #20K, making their take home to be #80K. The management later discovered the drivers now resulted to parking the bus at road sides, stations or terminals having no passengers to board thereby leaving passengers at other busy terminals stranded on the queue. He said there was a day he caught a driver packed the bus by road side and went to play Baba Ijebu. Hence, in order to checkmate them and put them on their toes, their wages was reviewed. Basic salary - #40K Performance bonus (formerly accident bonus) - #40K Total - #80K With this on ground, they persisted with their former acts and their performance bonuses were not paid. He said they were all summoned today having witnessed the effect of their strike action but they failed to show up, therefore they might continue tomorrow. 1 Like |
