The head of the company was on TVC News Hours 4pm today and shed light on the reason for their strike action without given any prior notification.

According to him, it wasn't a matter of unpaid salaries but performance bonuses. Initially their basic salary was #60K while accident bonus was #20K, making their take home to be #80K.

The management later discovered the drivers now resulted to parking the bus at road sides, stations or terminals having no passengers to board thereby leaving passengers at other busy terminals stranded on the queue.
