FOX has revealed the singer Mariah Carey will play Kitty, a superstar who comes to Empire Entertainment to collaborate with Jamal Lyon (Jussie Smollett) on a new song. When their duet hits a snag, Kitty helps Jamal overcome his personal demons. The new episode is slated to air Wednesday, Oct. 5.
