Are you intending to study at ABU Zaria? If yes, ensure that you apply for the School of Basic and Remedial Studies (SBRS Funtua) because with a minimum of 2 points and the approved minimum point for JAMB (usually 180), your admission is secured. SBRS is Ahmadu Bello University remedial school situated in Funtua, Katsina state. It is a standard school equipped with all that is required to prepare you for the university (enough lecture theatres, classes & hostels, excellent lecturers, well equipped labs e.t.c.). I believe that 12 months of intense lectures and practicals from 7am-5pm coupled with weekly tests is enough remedial to a willing student.

(a) Basic (IJMB) Studies Programmei. Candidates for this programme must possess a minimum offive (5) credits including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings
(b) Remedial Studies Programme. Candidates for this programme must possess at least three (3) credits in science subjects (in not more than one sitting)
Duration of both programs is 12 months.
