Lagos state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has concluded plans to commence medical emergency and rescue operations by deploying the three Rapid Response Squad (RRS) helicopters recently purchased by his administration, as a means to facilitate rescue operations as well as boost security surveillance across the metropolis.

It would be recalled that the RRS helicopters recently aided in locating and rescuing crew members and passengers of a helicopter with registration number N5BQJ belonging to Bristow Group, which crashed while heading to Lagos from Port Harcourt.
