After moving from Blogger to
, it was pretty boring
for some few months not until I
discovered there was more,
WordPress.org. Many people (especially
newbies) do not know the differences
between the two of them. That would
stop today.
See this–> WordPress VS Blogger
WordPress.org is an open source
Content Management system that was
built by the community and for the
community. WordPress was first
planned to be a blogging system but it
later evolved to a Content Management
system (i.e.) It can be used for many
things ranging from Blogs to websites
and even e-commerce sites.
on the other hand also
uses the Content Management system
(WordPress.org) but they provide a
hosting package along with the
software. This means that they do all
the maintenance and upgrades and
basically all the dirty work for you. It’s
is like the ready made of
WordPress.org.
WordPress.org
Pros
1. You have full control over your
website. (I.e. No body can bring
down your site for no legal
reason except you do illegal
things and your hosting react)
2. You have the capability of
installing any plugin of your
choice unlike
3. Install any theme and customize
it just the way you love.
4. You are free to implement ad
codes and make money from
your site.
Cons
1. Requires hosting which would
cost a fee.
2. You are the security
surveillance of your site i.e.
You have the responsibility to
always watch your site and it’s
check for vulnerabilities.
3. You are responsible to always
watch over your site for errors
and update issues.
4. Your site could go down
anytime due to downtimes.
(This would not necessarily
happen if you are with a good
company)

Pros
1. You don’t have to worry about
anything except your content,
they do all the dirty work for
you.
2. You don’t have to worry about
your site going down due to
downtimes.
Cons
1. You do not have full access to
your site. (You can not upload
plugins, themes and cannot
implement ad codes for
monetization)
2. You have to pay a fee to remove
the ads running on your site (If
you are on their free plan)
3. They never remove their
powered by WordPress at the
footer even if you pay for CSS
Upgrade.
OUR VERDICT
is perfect for newbies
and people do not have much time and
want to concentrate on your content as
much as possible, other than that,
WordPress.org beats
hands down. You should also be sure
that you have thousands of people
ready to support you in case you are
stuck. This is because they own a large
community, support, and
knowledgeable base.

a blog
That’s should be all for now!
