Why did Siasia follow them to Rio if he hadn't been paid for months? He already had it in mind to cause trouble...Keep quiet if you cannot think. 1 Like |

Tribute To Late Samuel Sochukuma Okwaraji: Brother Decries Govt ’ s Neglect. Wants Okwaraji Immortalised 27 years after … The family of late Super Eagles midfielder Sam Okwaraji, has expressed dismay over Federal Government ’ s neglect to the family since his passage 27 years ago , saying that immortalising him will make a big difference. Elder brother to late Okwaraji, Mr . Patrick Okwaraji stated this on Thursday in an exclusive interview with New Telegraph at the family residence at Abakpa Nike Enugu State . He explained that since the death of his younger brother , past governments have refused to honour the family despite series of letters put across to them but no avail . According to him , Stephen Keshi was twice national coach of the Eagles . He has also being an international coach twice they are all mates. He has also led Nigeria to the World Cup. He said : “ Sam Okwaraji was a doctorate degree graduate. He played football at top level. If not for death , he would have been very great today. People like Patrick Ekeji who read as much as Sam , later became the Director of Sports in Nigeria for almost 10 years . When you check all these , you know the weight of his loss to the family . “ His death is a very big loss to the family . Loss of life, memory and no rememberance. Imagine nothing like entitlement too since then till now . The Nigerian government is not showing sign of appreciation even to immortalize him . “ Even though the government is not doing anything about him , let his legacy impact fire up the younger ones . Look at the mother of Sam, a former international footballer. She is okay but she would have been better if his son was still alive today. She would have been a happier woman on earth. Like she said before, she has handed over everything to God . ” 1 Like

The funny part is that they lose more if they boycott the match. There is no need boycotting tomorrow. Enter plane and leave Rio. The worst part is that, they are not training. Be looking for $2,000. Do not go out to the field and fight to earn, $40,000 a week. Who will lose? Dalung or Pinnick? |

Bla,bla,bla.... Same old story! Mr Siasia, with all due respect, your team is so exciting to watch...smiles However, permit me to remind you that ...going on a strike OR abandoning your next match wouldnt bring the olympic soccer to a halt...we,the viewers would simply watch and support another team, Nigeria may receive a fine for such embarrasement, Nff wont consider u for future appointments, etc hence, my "2kobo" on this, is dat..if you and ur boys can...Win the gold!! and move on with your lives!!! Look at the u21 squad--a good lesson to learn from...smiles. who talks about them now?? NOBODY! Dont assume the danish team would be a "walk-over" for your boys. Kindly advise ur boys accordingly, let emotions be put aside...smh...A word is enough for the wise!!! Wish u guys the best! #ProudlyNigerian ckmayoca: 2 Likes |
