I just read this in www.saharareporters.com.

The story goes thus:

Judge Christopher Hardy of the Southwark Crown Court in London has dismissed the application brought before the court by Ibori's mistress, Udoamaka Onuigbo asking the court to declare her arrest in Paris null and void. She'd claimed through her lawyer that the Metropolitan police officer DC MacDonald who applied and got the European arrest warrant manipulated the magistrate that granted it.

But the judge declared that the non-declaration of the existence of an Nigerian court case against Mrs. Onuigbo did not materially alter the facts presented in obtaining the warrant that nabbed her in Paris late last year. The judge said that it was obvious that Mrs. Onuigbo was evading the London Metropolitan police in violation of her bail conditions and therefore dismissed the application noting that all the objections raised were speculative. The judge accused her lawyer, Messrs Trollope of abusing the court process by bringing the application in the first place,

Today's ruling effectively shuts down further attempts to spring Onuigbo out of the UK on technicality. The arguments had lasted for two days and was effectively misrepresented to the Nigerian public by Ibori and his media propaganda aides who claimed the London mets officer, Mc Donald admitted to the court that he "lied" to obtain the warrants.
This is against a backdrop of false and misleading stories publish yesterday by some Nigeria Newspaper (e.g ThisDay & Independent) telling us that the Metropolitan police officer handling the case admitted some lies.

Fellow Nrld's if we can't trust our media any more, then who do we trust now. Is it Ibori, Aondokaa, Yar,adua or , ?

Pls ur input

Well the truth is that these guys will rust in jail. Waziri and AGF can do everything in their power to defend and cover these rogues up, the truth will always prevail. The most painful thing here is that if you see the people on trial face to face, you wont believe what you saw. The three of them are so ugly that one can only ask Ibori what are these. When you see their pictures you will think may be but seeing them you can only shake your head - very ugly things. Anyway they lost today again during their pre-trial hearing. Its now 2 Nil. So one can only say, Game on. Ibori your days are numbered.
