By self sustainable, I mean businesses that will not require too much time and resources; and which will continue to yield good returns. It is only in agriculture you can find such businesses, though not all agribusinesses. Here below are some of those businesses:

1. Goat business: This is a money spinner. Though it may take 2 or 3 years before you can duely get returns, it cannot exhaust itself except you yourself don't want to continue with it. All this business requires is just patience for like 2 years and you start smiling to the bank. Imagine starting with just a dozen goats(8 she-goats and 4 he-goats), you can have up to 300 goats at the end of the 3rd year. A mature goat in the market now is costly. Their feed is weed and cereal shaft and leftover. you can get that easily.

Sustainability of the business: Your goats will continue to breed and multiply whether you are there or not. Just feed them and leave them alone but secure them in a ventilated house or fenced land. Also, it is not seasonal! very interesting!

2. Snail farming business. This also is hot! Just ensure you water them enough during dry season and see your snails multiply.

3. Fish farming business: This one too is not seasonal and yield in plenty.

4. Plantain farming business: Sustainable because you need to plant only once and you will see the plantation spreading everywhere. It may spread to other people's land if you don't control it. The more it spreads, the more its yield and the more your income; though a bit seasonal.

5. Pineaple farming business: Though seasonal, it is sustainable for you only need to plant once and continue to maintain the farm after the initial planting.

You are free to comment and enquire more about any of them.
