we needs God's backing with optimal preparation to defeat the German side. those guys mauled Portugal by 4 - 0.

portugal and nigeria have similar style of play (short passes), the problem with their side in their last match was their lack of clinical finishers ( they were lacking in the final third, but their build-up play was fantastic!) also the portuguese defence esp their keeper performed a little bit poorly.
Germany on the other hand were tactically and technically sound in all departments to a fault.

coming back to the dream team, our last match was unarguably one of the best matches i have seen from the Eagles in a longtime. Mikel's deliveries were excellent and fantastic (100%), even a "baby" could have converted one of the set pieces (corner kicks) from Mikel.

In that match we were solid and superb both aerially and on the ground forays.
coach Siasia must have done something different.

the outcome of the semi is going to be largely influenced by the inputs of the coaches from either side.

Looking closely at the statistics, we seem the first real hurdles for the Germans. They conceded 5 goals before getting here. If Fiji were a formidable foe, they would have scored against the German.

Etebo will be fit for the game. We pray Mikel prove his mettle once against in Midfield. Imoh and Sadiq should take half chances that come their way. Our defense must concentrate because any mistake they make, we will pay dearly for it.

We have to control the Midfield to snatch a win against the Germans. The game may go into extra time and penalties.

It is going to be a tight game but as a Nigerian, I am optimistic we will win this.

The Germans are traditionally strong in the Midfield which always seems to be compact!
all our midfielder must operate at full capacity to be able to churn out a good result.

Okay, thanks for the analysis. I didn't watch the German match. But it was right to assess them as a sound team after defeating Portugal by such immense goal margin.
