I recall when the price of PMS was increased we were made to believe that market forces will gradually bring down the price in the coming months. While we have the likes of NNPC selling for between 141 and 143 in some stations we have the NIPCOS selling for 143 and the all time low I saw today somewhere around egbeda was 139/litre. But we have the major marketers like the Totals, Forte, Conoil and Mobile still selling at 145.

Sometimes , I find myself trying to get to a fuel station that sells for 143/litre before I buy fuel even though the 2 naira can be considered negligible. My question therefore is that? Are we really buying the right value of fuel from the fuel stations selling below 145 or we are buying from adjusted pumps or low quality fuel (burns faster)

Becos the puzzle for me is why are the major marketers not coming down from the 145

The same question was ask by me when I got to Mobil filling along berger lagos ibadan express road. The response I got from one the attendance was oga pls be buying 145per and get value for your money that 143per and not correspondence with standard litre. Naija I hail ooo
