Organization that accredits and dis-accredits higher institutions in Nigeria, the National Universities Commission (NUC), warns the public to note the following list of 57 Universities that have been declared illegal by the commission.

The National Universities Commission has done its due diligence to bring the list of all the erring institutions to the limelight. It is left for students to do their research before applying for any institution.

Meanwhile, these 8 typed Degree Mills are currently undergoing investigations and/or undergoing court actions which is to prosecute proprietors and recover illegal fees and charges on subscribers or students.

2. North Central University, Otukpo, Arochukwu, Abia State.

3. Christ Alive Christian Seminary And University, Enugu.

4. Richmond Open University, Arochukwu, Abia State.

5. West Coast University, Umuahia.

6. Saint Clements University, Iyin Ekiti, Ekiti State.

7. Volta University College, Aba, Abia State.

8. Cool Illegal Satellite Campuses Of Ambrose Alli University.
