For weeks now a lot of events have been on media, flyers, posters, Radio and others about people who want to truncate our efforts towards rebranding Nursing in Nigeria. Each time I read on pages of Newspapers and I see the Name Nurse used as a synonym to report a harm committed by Quack Nurse or a school of nursing or department of Nursing drop-out, I wonder if there is conspiracy between the media and enemies of Nursing and Nurses. ‎The word Quack from The English Dictionary means a fraudulent, incompetent and an impostor who claims to have qualification to practice. Also a charlatan, swindler, fraudster, con-man, phony, fake .
 
‎While Quackery means the practice of fraudulent medicine, usually in other to make money or for ego gratification and power; health fraud. ‎From the above I deduce that Quacks in Nursing are those fraudulent, incompetent, charlatans, swindlers, phony, fake individuals who portray themselves as Nurses, wearing Nurses Uniforms, indulge in whoredom, promiscuity, stealing of neonates.

These set of persons lack education, professional Nursing trainings, scientific principles, critical thinking, competence, professionalism, ethics and etiquettes and have no regulatory body.
 
‎Patients have been at the receiving end of these anomalies. But will leave this aspect of damages caused by these murderers to patients for now because they are numerous. Nurses in Nigeria have been nicknamed as being wicked, incompetent, rude, dirty, arrogant, unprofessional, slaves to other professionals, even prostitutes and known for Just injections and checking of Vital signs SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THESE BREEDS CALLED QUACKS‎.
 
On NMCN--The Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria is a category B parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health established by Decree No. 89, 1979 now known as Nursing and Midwifery (Registration etc) act. Cap. N143, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004. The Council is a body Corporate with PERPETUAL SUCCESSION AND A COMMON SEAL.
 
It is the ONLY LEGAL, ‎ADMINISTRATIVE, CORPORATE AND STATUTORY BODY CHARGED WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS ON BEHALF OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA IN ORDER TO ENSURE THE DELIVERY OF SAFE AND EFFECTIVE NURSING AND MIDWIFERY CARE TO THE PUBLIC THROUGH QUALITY EDUCATION AND BEST PRACTICES. The Council is MANDATED BY LAW to REGULATE the STANDARDS OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY EDUCATION and PRACTICE IN NIGERIA AND TO REVIEW such standards from TIME TO TIME to meet the changing health needs of the society. 
 
The PRIMARY OBJECTIVES of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria are to ensure HIGH QUALITY OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY EDUCATION in Nigeria, maintain HIGH STANDARD of professional nursing and midwifery PRACTICE AND ENFORCE DISCIPLINE WITHIN THE PROFESSION. Should NMCN that have been established to perform these act SIT COMFORTABLY and watch enemies of Nursing train quacks in nursing uninterrupted?.‎And also allow these anomalies to continue thereby killing our noble and God given image??
 
‎NMCN must save nursing in Nigeria from the hands of Quackery and bring perpetrators to book. It's so pathetic and disheartening that only in Nigeria you see people coming from USA to train #QUACKSINNURSING because they believe that nigeria is a dumping ground where everything goes, bribes can be thrown around, money can be easily made and the authorities would turn a blind eye. 
 
Nurses in Nigeria are wailing on daily basis. Yet NMCN saddled with the SOLE responsibility to bring about a nursing educational reforms, fight against Quackery in Nursing is silent. These Quacks are weeds growing where they are not wanted yet the FARMER (NMCN) chose to allow his CROPS (NURSING) die instead of removing the WEEDS(QUACKS) for him to have a great HARVEST(NURSES). 
 
‎What baffles me is their silence. Does it mean they don't know what to do or what?. Are they only concerned about renewal of licences that take over 2-3years before is printed and giving to their respective owners? 
 
One thing is sure!! Is either NMCN saves Nursing in Nigeria Now or be ready to loose the fight against these monsters, whores, promiscuous, dirty, illiterates, murderers and good for nothing quacksinNursing. Posterity will judge our leaders who refuse to use their good offices to fight against this anomaly called Quack. One day you may be taken to one of these hospitals that breeds QuacksinNursing when in coma. Then they will inject your sciatic Nerves and make you paralysed forever or can even give you cocacola products as Intravenous fluid. It has happened and it's still happening. The fear you fail to overcome or truncate today will kill you tomorrow, The sickness you show complacency today will bring deformity or complications or death in future.

NMCN must stop Quacks in Nursing Now or Never. We are tired of frivolities, complacencies, unassertiveness and Inferiority complexes. What we need now is ACTION‎!!! Quackery is a‎ sabotage orchestrated by groups of DUBIOUS AND GREEDY HEALTH PROFESSIONALS BOTH WITHIN AND OUTSIDE NURSING PROFESSION. NMCN must assume its legal roles and functions, do the needful so that future Nurses in Nigeria will have a viable profession.‎ 
 
Both TRAINERS AND TRAINEES should desist from these dastard act because the hammer is up. Is no business as usual. If you doubt me ask ‎MRS JOAN AND CHIEF EDDIE (QUACKSINNURSING TRAINERS), they will inform you better.
 
NMCN A PARASTATAL THAT KNOWETH WHAT IS RIGHT AND DOETH IT NOT‎!! NURSES ARE OUT FOR REAL FIGHT AGAINST QUACKSINNURSING.
