Am a son of d soil. I must say this with all sincerity, ever since gov udom took d mantle. Nothing is working in d state . in fact all d exco that was used by his predecessor is still in place. Potholes have resurface almost all d major streets. All we hear is propagandas nd groundbreaking ceremonies. Seconded by excuses that there is no money in d state.a frnd called to inform me about the shooting bt Am sure this militancy of thing is connected to the hidden stipen he(governor) secretly pays them every month cos I knw about two guys who just wait for an alert every month from the state govt. in the name of being an exmilitant/cultist...really regret supporting this man.

What started as a normal protest over entitlements by ex-militants went out of hand as the militants attempted to take over the Akwa Ibom State government house.

At the time of the report, police have succeeded to pull back the first wave of Strikes by the militants.

It is unclear whether the militants would regroup and strike again or it is over.

Right now police have taken over the streets adjoining and advised people to stay clear.

And you think when the sleeping dog lie you mistook his calmness for lack of aggression then you are wrong in as much as that area of the country is relatively calm......their agitation is always very brutal and extremely graphics.............In Nigeria if a step son does not do as if he want to sleep with his step mother, the father will not think of marrying a wife to the son.....that is how we see Nigeria.....
