About Nigerian naira
The naira ₦ was introduced on January 1 1973. It comes in several denominations such as 1 naira coin, 5 naira, 10 naira (red), 20 naira (green), 50 naira (white, sky), 100 naira (oh oh), 200 naira, 500 naira (zik) and 1000 naira (1k) notes. 50 kobo coins (100 kobos make 1 naira) and 1 naira coins are also in circulation.

About United States dollars
The United States Of American dollar $ was introduced in 1972. There are 1 dollar, 5 dollar, 10 dollar, 50 dollar and hundred dollar banknotes in circulation. In addition to the minted currency, there are 1 cent (penny), 5 cent (nickel), 10 cent (dime), 25 cent (quarter dollar), 50 cent (half dollar) and one dollar (dollar coin) coins in legal circulation.
The dollar, in substitution of gold, is used as the standard currency of international trade by the majority of world nations.

About British pounds
The United Kingdom pounds sterling £ is believed to be the oldest currency in existence as the first written history of the pounds dates as far back as 1489. British pounds sterling comes in 5 pounds, 10 pounds, 20 pounds and 50 pounds while coins come in 1 pence, 2 pence, 5 pence, 10 pence, 20 pence, 50 pence, 1 pound and 2 pound denominations. 100 British pence is equal to 1. The British shilling is no longer in use.

About European euros
The European euro € is used by member countries of the European Union except in the case of the United Kingdom. In circulation are 5 euro, 10 euro, 20 euro, 50 euro, 100 euro, 200 euro and 500 euro banknotes. The euro also comes in 1 cent, 2 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 20 cent and 50 cent coins denominations. The euro was officially introduced in December 1995.
