Ben Bruce's case is a lesson to anyone who thinks that technocrats like Pat Utomi, Okonjo Iweala, Charles Soludo, Sanusi Lamido etc will make good leaders when they delve into politics in Nigeria. Bruce was nice till he became a senator. Not even, pastors Adeboye, Kumuyi, Oyedepo, Oyakhilome etc will remain the same should they chose to venture into Nigerian politics.

Senator Bruce perhaps didn't know that he lost it when last he tweeted and argued for continuation of one Nigeria.

Let us reduce to 7 Ministers one per zone plus FCT. 36 Senators. 72 Representatives. 10 Members for each State Assemblies. 7 Ministers per Governor and 10 Local Governments per State.

Ministers are appointed lol for portfolios. . . it has nothing go do with zone. And governors have commissioners, not ministers.

He is very correct. Once you cut the states you have also cut the house. 6 states mean 18 senators (3 per state) and 30 reps (5 per state). 2 ministers per state bring total number to 12. Bro Ben, please push this through and you will become the people's general!

Ben Bruce is right, we should also do away with the Senate. We should have no more than 2 reps per state. The state legislators shouldn't be more than 10 members and they should work part time. They should have real jobs. Abolish the stupid constituency projects, let the ministries do their work. There is too much waste in Government.
