According to Prokotinz blog reader, "The prison soak away in Ogbete main market Enugu, Enugu state got spoilt for close to one month and the faeces passes through this line and the appropriate authorities seem so adamant about this, leaving these poor women and men to inhale the faeces and also obstructing their business because people hardly pass through there because of the stench that comes out of the line. Soo many has taken ill because of this. Please kindly share for the world to see and may be they will do something about it". What a shame & disaster. Can the government do something about this as soon as possible ? more pictures at Prokotinz.com Source: http://www.prokotinz.com/2016/08/excreta-passes-through-ogbete-main.html

This is bad. First, this is a PDP State, so people dont say i am supporting the Government. Sometimes we just have to use common sense in anything we do in life, yes it is the duty of the Government to fix this, but in the absence of the Government, this is where common sense comes in. People inhaling, stepping on, and selling edible things is not just an accident, but it is an accident that will turn into a tragedy, because human faeces carries diseases like E coli diarrhea, salmonella or shigella, hepatitis A and E and also Giardia and Cryptosporidium which causes beaver fever. This market has an Association where each shop/store owner contributes monthly dues, which should be for the upkeep of the market. Why can't they quickly repair this thing, since it is their market that is suffering. What exactly do the Exco Members of The Market Association do with the Millions Of Naira in their accounts? we cannot continue to be waiting for the Government for everything. 2 Likes |
