plants are not conscious beigns. Killing and eating animal is canibalism in a broader context. Can you differenciate between an animal butchered parts and human's in a slaughter house?Who told you to eat animal in the first place. Jehovah? I guess. Study reveals over 65 percent of vegans are atheist.
Lol U are wrong when U said plant are not Conscious. My brother they are grin Even more that humans

One school of thought ( and study ) says plants are conscious, but on a different level of consciousness to animals. I have read books that shows plants are able to communicate over distances and "feel pain" when cut.
Cannibalism is the act of an individual of a specie eating another individual of the same specie. I do not understand the broader sense you are defining cannibalism. Are you insinuating eating shrimps by humans is cannibalism?
Vegetarianism or veganism has little to do with theism. Most people I know to be vegans/vegetarians do so for compassionate reasons ( they feel compassion for the slaughtered animals) and not for religious reasons. The Abrahamic religions strongly supports the rearing, slaughtering and eating of animals.

owliver your level of reasoning and self realization is above what a lot of people can comprehend. so don't bother trying to set the records straight for some folks cause they won't get it. it is like trying to explain quantum mechanics to secondary level physics students who have not gotten a good grasp of classical physics.

you understand human behaviour, emotions and human mind in another dimension that is why u can decode beyond the surface to know where sentiments evolve. you need to avoid argument but rather engage in discussions that does not deflate the ego of others.

you have understood perception and perspectives but there is still room for improvement. you can still draw from the well of the absolute but you need to drop deeper. you need to be careful because a lot of people will misunderstood you and may even attack you based on their insecurities and low self-esteem.

a level of selfishness is required for survival.

a level of fear is required to be cautious.

There are things in existence whether we believe it or not.

OP I don't believe in religion but I believe in a God. different cultures and religions have defined God as best as they could.

there must be a designer, life can't just come out of nothing. that's no realistic sense to me.

now if you are going to ask who made God I'll tell you I don't know. I don't care. why do I need to bother on something beyond my knowledge.

I'll just live my life a good way and wait for death. am ready any day any time, because that's part of life.

maybe when we die we understand better. generations have come, generations will come. same question will bother them.

the fact that we don't have the capability to comprehend life makes God a fact. A knowledge greater than our knowledge. that is God.

so just live your life, but as long as you can't comprehend, acknowledge that as God(knowledge unknown).

of course you should know, the higher u climb the pyramid of knowledge the more lonely u become because there are few people at the top and many at the bottom. it also applies to the pyramid of wealth, power etc.

the higher u go, the less the number of people who share your predicaments cool

Haha that's a very funny comment coming from you. Curse has no effect. So don't bother cursing people who have wronged you cos you will end up getting hurt while they thrive.

just commenting because others do.

hmm a fresher.

let's me teach you little bit about humans. all humans are naturally selfish.

you give a beggar money, you are giving so you'll feel good which will in turn benefit him. selfish.

you help your mom to buy bread, you do it first because you don't want to feel bad disobeying your mom. selfish

when you argue, you do that cos first you want to feel proud teaching someone so you'll be seen as intelligent then it benefits the person. selfish

if I ask you 1000naira card you won't give me. why? cos if you don't you won't feel bad. but if your brother asks even if it's your last 1k you most likely will give him so you won't feel bad not giving him. selfish.

you see a little child begging you feel pity(pains) you are psychotically bullied to help. so you won't feel guilty. selfish

I can go on and on. every living organism is selfish no matter what you think. the scientist is also selfish, teaching people about God or no God in order to win souls and reassuring himself that he is right. debating comes from pain. pain of ideology which one will subdue the other.

we are tormented psychologically to do things. make decisions, sacrifice one pain for comfort. I wish I had the time to say much sir.
Hardcore guy.

you should feel free to quote me with that I don't mind. if you still haven't know all living organisms are selfish then you haven't thought about it harder. ask questions if you feel like, I'll answer you instead of subbing me.

if you think the post is faulty throw your opinion. am willing to learn.
Deep. We accomodate each other in a society cos of the selfish desire to sacrifice tolerance for peace.

Bro, you are not alone at all.
I cant believe i understood every single thing you said. Problem with people like you is that if we emerge in a large number, the world will be cold bloody. I remember a thread by hardmirror which said that we should leave religion to stay cos religion is among a host of other things preventing your poor neighbor from attacking a rich man in the same street.
You cant easily control a society of free thinkers, infact a society of absolute free thinkers cannot survive itself.
.
We still live to survive, no matter how man redefines ideas about resources. Most people in position of some high level of control of humans usually understand that there are absolute psychological traits in man and they often exploit them.

Fear is searching for Peace. Fear and Peace have thesame codes in the Bible. There are two ways we handle Fear and both is seeking for Peace. 1, we all fear terrifying monsters and the unknown figments of our imaginations. And so we hide and shy away from them to have Peace. 2, we fear God. This time, Fear means Respect God to get what He promises in Exodus 14:14. Two major Spirits names of God that are relevant in this discussion are Wisdom and Peace. The bible tells us that the fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom. It also tells us to ask God for Wisdom whenever we need it. God Himself in Exodus 14:14 instructs us to be in Peace, not fear but patiently, enduringly, humbly and perseveringly for His Terms and Time to satisfy all our Needs that will in turn give us abundant Peace. So my friend, God is still available to you. Go to Him in Prayers, tell Him why you have been running away from Him and to the terrifying monster and He will explain Himself in Spirit to you and forgive you

I totally disagree with these comments.

There's no evidence that a society of the non-religious is more barbaric/violent (or otherwise) than any one composed essentially of religious folks (eg. Scandinavian countries are not religious and yet peaceful and sane).

While not everyone may be urbane in any type of society, humans are social animals and the need to tolerate others for the sake of survival is sheer instinct.

Whether you agree or not...Religion is one of the most powerful tools used in keeping the poor in order.

Yes, all independent thinking fellows know that.

Your previous post inferred that it is the only tool not just one of the available tools.
