You guys should stop worrying about EGYPT's game. I already reckon they 'd play a draw at the minimum. Our hopes lie in the matches between CAMEROUN Vs GERMANY and COSTA RICA Vs CZECH REPUBLIC. And for those who wish NIGERIA had scored more goals against TAHITI, I have news for you: it would not have made any difference! The other teams would still need only a draw to qualify. |

Siasia disapointed us,where are christiantus, isa, akinsola and oseni, these boys could hav made a difference in our attack bt sia wnt to use his own new breed and he's paying 4 dat. I dnt even wnt them to go far in dis competition cos they dnt play lik nigerian young team that plays wt power, entertaining and skillful football. |

@ Arabambi Which quality are you talking about? I assure you NIGERIA can win ITALY and EGYPT! Please let's appreciate our own, and not wait till they bring laurels home. @Chidyke77. Some of those players you mentioned are injured (notably Chrisantus). Siasia went to EGYPT with the best crop of guys he could get that are fit. |

also remember naija has been forced to use REAL U-21s unlike before when they use older players to win.from now on nigeria will not find it easy in fifa age-based competitions |

Ok lets look at this critically its literally imposible 4 england 2 beat uzbekistan 7-0 or for uzbekistan 2 beat england 6-0. Trinidad & tobago can't beat paraguay 6-0 and australia can't beat brazil 6-0. Then we hope germany beat cameroon, usa & south korea produces a winner, czech beats costa-rica & honduras beats south africa. If any of this happens then NIGERIA qualifies as the 3rd runner up from group b and will meet the winner of group d which will be the winner of ghana vs uruguay. |

Cant u all see that, we are professional pool players who continue to loose? Even the SUPER EAGLES who are now SUPER CHIKENS are already permutating for Tunisia to slip so we could go to the world cup and hope to continue permutating to move along the ladder called rounds. Na wa o. |
Re: Nigeria Vs Tahiti (5-0) Thursday 1 October 2009 by TexMex: 10:15pm On Oct 01, 2009 |
Chidyke I 'm aware that NIGERIA has several football academies. You have mentioned PEPSI academy, there's this other one in KWARA STATE, and not to mention SEGUN ODEGBAMI's own. So if we have the players, why haven't we heard about them? The players are not well-rounded, that's why. It may surprise you that OMATSONE ALUKO played for ENGLAND previously, so for SIASIA to have gone that far to persuade a player to play for his fatherland is saying something. |
Re: Nigeria Vs Tahiti (5-0) Thursday 1 October 2009 by mikeoscar: 10:19pm On Oct 01, 2009 |
Guys, Let me make a feeble defence of Sia-one, I heard wwhen He took over the job, He did complain that it was a bit late, then later on, some of his best players lost out either through indicipline by not reporting early to camp etc. This was followed by a glaring realisation that the team didn't have a compact defence and ofcourse He left late for camping in spain.Looking at the way the boys play, you will realise that this particular boys were definitely NOT his best selection. |
