Dr. Marcel Ofomata, MD/CEO of Africa's leading Asset financing company, Amaecom Global Limited, was on Friday 12th August, 2016, conferred with an Honorary Chieftaincy Title of ONWA ISUOFIA at the palace of His Royal Highness, Igwe (COL.) C.O.A Moughalu, (rtd), the Isu II of Isuofia in Anambra State.

Dr. Ofomata was honored for his positive impacts and service to humanity. Recounting his limitless benevolence, His Royal Highness, Igwe (COL.) C.O.A Moughalu, (rtd) expressed total satisfaction with the valuable contributions Dr. Ofomata has brought to the community, state, country and the world at large stating that these are part of the justification for the conferment of the Honorary Chieftaincy Title of ONWA ISUOFIA on him.

He is a TWO term Chairman of a foremost Youth Group in Anambra State: Odiraa Chukwumma Age Grade with impressive track record of service delivery and servant -leadership style including the building of a cottage Hospital for his community in his tenure as the Chairman.

He is the Founder of Marcel Ofomata Foundation which core target covers Scholarship, Mentorship and Entrepreneurship Schemes for members of the society. Tens of students are currently benefiting from the university scholarship of the foundation while many indigenes are enjoying a revolving tricycle scheme, a revolving Seed money of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500,000) for Ozalla-Uhuana Women Wing as well as Free annual Medical treatment for Aguata/Isuofia indigenes and neighboring communities in partnership with Imabridge Africa, United States of America.

His foundation has been sponsoring the End-of-the year activities of Isuofia Peoples Union Federated, Akwa Ibom State chapter for the past two years, support Inter House Sports Competitions of Schools across the country,support Annual Pageantry/Football Tournament for Isuofia Youths amongst others.

He is married to Mrs Chika who is now a 'LOLO' by extension and the family is blessed with four children.
