Attorney General of Fraud. Guy like him belong in jail, its obvious that he is corrupt upon that, he diminishes whats left our self respect and dignity. He should be charged for treason for undermining and sabotage to national economic welfare, national dignity and disruption of legal processes. Him and ibori are felons and should be declared wanted but that wont happen anyway.

Aondoakaa has never been Nigeria's problem. When did official corruption began in Nigeria? huh? Has Maurice Iwu resigned? Where is OBJ, Atiku, IBB, and the other thieves. More recently, where are our billionaires that borrowed billions of Naira from Banks without paying up? where are the Bank executives that aided and abbeted those crimes? where are our professors and lectures who collect bribes from students to pass and leak their exam questions? where are the thieving senators and house of reps members? where is Elumelu? What of Yar'Adua that claimed he had a stolen mandate? and the list continues . . . .

We should stop singling one person to direct our frustrations at. What of the other AGF that traded our territory at Bakassi to the Cameroonians? Definately, Aondoakaa can never be our worst AGF.

there is no AGF as contoversial as this guy THE PROTECTOR OF THE CORRUPT, agreed our problem starts at Independence when people put Regional and Personal interest above National Interest but he would have saved his name if he thread on the right part. It was OBJ, Atiku, and co yesterday now it is Aondoakaa, Ibori, Yaradua and co. We dont even know what tomorrow wil bring. May God Save Nigeria. sad

I totally agree with Nezan's last paragraph. The corruption in this country didn't start with the present AGF but as a member of the NBA I find the AGF's utterances and actions in some circumstances very appaling.

The entire YarAdua administration is an embarrasment, the man himself is too slow and incompetent to head this nation.but haven't said that I must say that the NBA itself has been seriously compromised, the association is not free of corrupt members.

For Maurice Iwu to still be in office as the INEC chairman, then we nigerians ought to know that Aondoakaa is going no where. This govt i think is by far the worst one I have encountered because of its corrupt officials, lack of competence and inefficiency in administration

Yar Adua has proved that he is nothing but a weakling.

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) spoke in his personal capacity at those events. The NBA has an ethics committee/segment that should look into the activities of the AGF. Should we believe the NBA is maintaining a consented silence or a tacit approval of his numerous ignoble deeds?

@Nezan, granted, all the names you mentioned have contributed in no small measure to the seemingly insurmountable mountain of graft and corruption bedevilling Naija. Andoaka deserves trailerloads of criticism for his numerous and innumerable transgressions against the rule of law and especially as the chief law officer of this country. His ineptitude is appalling and this is made worse by his numerous hasty comments which demonstrate not only his lack of tact but also his unforgiveable ignorance of the laws he is meant to protect. He should be fired and duely prosecuted. He deserves what will surely come to him after he steps down from power

All of u guys wondering why the AGF has not been sacked shd consider the following:

1. Why has the Justice Uwais committee report not been implemented or even adopted by this govt despite public outcry for its implementation?

2. Why are both Houses footdragging over the Constitution review especially as pertains to the Electoral Act, when we are so close to an Election year(2011)?

3. Why is Maurice Iwu still in office till now?

The truth of the matter is both men (Iwu and Oandoakaa) are critical factors in yaradua(and PDP)'s political permutations come 2011.
And so, short of gunning them down, or kidnapping them, I don't see this government removing them from office. Politics is about survival, and yaradua needs to survive at all cost.
In fact, people are already calling for him to contest for a 2nd term!
