Well i cant blame you, i suspect you had a very weak education. A man involved in an enormous project like building the largest single refinery in Africa will obviously need lots of FOREX. The benefits of such project when completed to d current pressure on forex is second to none.

I tried to ignore u but no!!! Wondering if you're mad!! If in a country of 180 million one man gets 10percent of all forex,( no govt agency can boast of that), and you don't understand what's happening. No wonder he's(dangote) the only person that can build a refinery when the PIB hasn't been signed, cos he knows indirectly the nnpc and the presidency got his back. So he's probably going to have a head start b4 they finally agree to sign the PIB and other investors come to build their refineries. GOVT OF NORTHERN interests. ONLY A FOOL thinks buhari is working for all of nigerias interests.

Everything must be done to get Dangote refinery on board. That will be a massive solution to our Fx and petroleum products wahala! Kudos to buhari on this one he didn't dismiss it as GeJ/pdp investment climate fraud!

It is not nepotism . First of all, why naira devaluation will help innoson and other manufacturers to maximize profit , the same can not be said on dangote who imports to build the refineries and other factories across the country like okpella cement factory in edo, tomato paste companies in Kano and Lagos .

Wait a minute, why are not complaining about the arbitrary import waivers to churches and southern businessmen during the Jonathan government

The Nigerians with enough money and capacity to invest and create jobs like Dangote have refused to do so because they are too scared to openly spend their looted funds and since it's only Dangote who is bold enough to do something, then he should be given preferential allowance to succeed.


He is building the largest refinery in Africa to eradicate our fuel problems once and for all with many left over to export for foreign exchange so is fertilizer, gas and petrochemicals..

It is very prudent and justified to make sure he has all the funds needed to see his projects through and it's also in our economic and national interest..

During GEJ tenure all tribes and section of this country benefited from the government. Though I am in support of anything that will create employment, but others should be carried along in the drive to create a sustainable environment. Na him time he should use it wisely nothing last forever

dangote isn't the only enterpreneur sourcing for forex, innoson, telecoms, airliners, banks are all sourcing for forex which will help keep those industries afloat, now explain why dangote has to be given prefrence over the rest. And bro do u not know if the PIB is signed the fg will not even need to give dangote any forex , why?!! Cos loads of fdi will help fund the project as their interests will be statutorily protected(PIB). So why will anybody support forex for dangote but non for other biz men. Can we be this blind or are we just simply not intelligent.

Benefitting from the government in power is not a crime,is it?.It makes him a smart business man in a capitalist society,would you prefer that foreign firms like lafarge had dominated the cement market in Nigeria?
If I remember correctly,it was the past administration that gave him license to construct a refinery and indorama is also constructing its own petrochemical structure simultaneously.There has not been any known complaint from other big manufacturing companies that they lack forex,except the importers.
