Someone likened dating and marriage to a road trip! The reasoning is obvious; planning and execution are needed to make a success of any venture. While dating it is necessary to be cautious and careful giving considerable thought and attention to where it leads, it is the same with marriage, being well-informed, prepared and aware of the pros and cons is absolutely vital.

Most people planning to get married go through the process of questioning themselves and wondering if they are making the right decision. Dating seems to be a fairly easy option with 'no strings attached' and provides the opportunity to cement the relationship between a couple before they plunge into matrimony. However, dating does not always provide stability in a relationship and can very well leave an individual feeling depressed or forlorn.


Prons And Cons of Dating

Besides giving the opportunity for individuals to build a firm footing in the relationship at hand, it also provides the space to build identities. Dating also provides the time and space for individuals to establish themselves in a career, have economic stability and financial independence and work around family commitments. Being truly ready when saying "I do" is the advice offered by many marriage counselors.
