U need to make photocopy of the original certificate, laminated copy is not good, just submit photocopy not laminated one.

Please can u check very well cos there is no registered college in the uk that will ask u to pay £2750 for Bsc , u can't even get diploma course for that amount.
I checked the Straford college in london, its registered but only one Bsc course in business they have there. There are many bogus colleges now in london taking advantage of foreign students. Please check very well b4 making any payment.

I have collected my UK visa application visa today but was refused, see attached, but the problem is that i have #1319000 for maintenance fund equalling 5200pounds, I paid my accommodation, but they went and used #1132000, which is a mistake on their own part, they did not consider that I have paid my accommodation booking which is #200, this away from 5400 pounds=5200.
What should I do, go for review, and I have limited time.

I really feel for u, u should have left the 5400, paying for accommodation is not always considered, this is very sad.
Inform ur school right away, review takes time considering the fact that u got no time to wait, maybe making fresh application is the best option.

If I make fresh applications, wont it affect the first report. just confused on this case.

I don't know how long review takes but from what pple said, it takes more time. If your school can give u more time then go for review.

It just occur to me now that making new application means having £5400 + remaining fees in your account.

The worst case senario is to go for sept admission season.

I printed my account balance on 26th Jan 2009 and the rate is 246 poounds which is what they used, if they have used my account balance against 5400-200(accmdtion)=5200 pd, that will be nice, but they didn't instead of #1319000 they went and used #1132010(their mistake), dont have idea how long review will take, now the conversion rate is 239pd, and am thinking of reapplying with a balance of #1319000(same as before) which gives 5518pd when converted. and if they need 5400, then I should still be ok.

If u have made full payment of ur school fees and have £5400 that u haven't touched for 28days then reapplying makes alot of sense.

since I have paid 200pd, the noted fund to show is 5200pd

@Bayonero, application was VI, u pay #400 for tex messages, so they use this to let me kwn when they started and when it is done, submitted onn 3rd Feb, ready yesterday, but ws refused, am planning to see what God will do for me.

when is your school resuming?

i'll say you reapply again by putting the required amount in your bank account for 28 days (provided you can still meet up with admission)

if its late, then i'll say you should consider re-applying with a letter from a lawyer stating the errors and your observations

My school resumes on Feb 15 and Reg ends on 22 Feb 2010.
I have reapplied today, and also send them email on the error, since they use converstion rate on date of account printout. 26th Jan 2010 was 246 was the first, but today is 239, #1319000/239=£5518, this should put me in good standing. outside london(£5400-200 (Accmmdtn)=£5200)
I am praying this works.

Those ECOs are bunch of retards     they refused you without going thru ALL your documents, they only check your Visa Letter and Statement of acc.
I was refused twice just because they misinterpreted the statement i submitted, I pointed out the mistake they made on the first application, still i was refused again for the same reason. So it's obvious they don't go thru all your documents. I've decided to wait till September (another 5 months of joblessness )

I was denied a Uk visa about 10yrs ago(but my old passport wasn't stamped)
I was denied French visa last year in may.

Does that reduces my chances of getting it. Is this ''bad immigration record'' pls help me on what to do.
