I AM A FIRST TIMER IN VEHICLES . I need experienced car users and sellers to assist me. A neighbour want to sell his Volkswagen Golf 2 to me but his explanations about the papers original and documents revalidation are not clear to me.

Please fellow nairalanders, what am i suppose to get from him as vehicle papers to avoid stories that touch.

He only knows of Agreement between me and him and that the vehicle papers have expired that i should buy and renew in my own name. i am confused.

He is an elderly man.
