For a very prominent position as the presidency, sentiment only act as an agent for making unwitty decisions as to who is fit for the task. If Nigerians can only for once forget about being inclined or loyal to a single party and vote for content rather than popularity, we can at least vote in someone who can best act in for such a position.

that's impossible in Nigeria politics.

rather the other party will sprang up some trash just to discredit the other just like apc did to Gej thereby convincing people that governance is like eating suya and holandia yogurt

Until we do the right thing we will continue to grope in the dark.

We know the right thing but some I too know people who actually know nothing coupled with their selfishness and laziness will not allow us do the right thing.

And I say until the moment we decide to regionalize this country and let every region manage itself we will not get out of this hole we dug for ourselves.

Even with the regionalism it will not be uhuru but we would be on the right path even if there would be misunderstandings initially amongst kinsmen but I tell you that that would be resolved quicker than this nonsense we say we are practicing.

It's a shame.

When Buhari came out with his ill advised economic policy or idea to ration foreign currency, restrict currency one can travel with, ban domiciliary account and selectively give Dangote and few northern business men all the dollars in the CBN coffers claiming they are "essential" national industries, economists warned him that the reaction of the market to such crazy ideas and one-sided restrictions would tilt the Nigerian economy into recession.

Airlines pulled out of Nigeria for inability to repatriate their profits and new investors simply stayed away from Nigeria. While all these were happening, Buhari and his kitchen cabinet simply focused on how to make more money from over taxing Nigerians and spending the scarce millions of dollars looking for oil in the north as his top economic priority. Not minding the price of oil has already crashed and Nigeria had millions of unsold oil cargo every month.

Today, the result of "body language" economics is here with us and it is going to get much much worse unless Buhari hire a team of highly knowledgeable economists to plan Nigeria's recovery and way out of this mess.

It is not a surprise at all! To those hoping on a miraculous recovery, economy's not a religious shrine that works with miracles. It takes brains, policies, actions and knowhow on a sustained manner to achieve growth.
Buhari/apc a disaster already happening!

The sad thing is that buhari does not even have the capacity to find the brains that would formulate and sustain the kind of policies that we need to get out of the quagmire we find ourselves.

He needs to keep his brothers who absolutely nothing about running a govt by his side. Those are the people actually running this country now. Forget Kemi and all the ministers, they can't do nothing.

Somebody is chief of staff and also board member in Nnpc.
