WHAILER is a cross breed between a "whailer" and a "hailer".

Ability to understand this new and dangerous political tool is as important as understanding the whys and hows we arrived where we are today hence, this modest contribution is to educate the public.

To understand the 'Whailer' you have to understand the 'hailer' and the 'wailer. First the hailer: The 'hailer' is that follower of PMB/APC whose belief in the two is unshakeable and total without room for negotiation and adjustment. The 'wailer' is the opposite of a 'hailer'. Both were products of the intrigues that gave birth to the regime of President Muhammadu Buhari.

While the 'hailer' is convincingly one of the tools used to dismantle the previous regime, the 'wailer' is a similar tool desperately created to balance the effect of the 'hailer' on the political fortunes of a new opposition class. Restless with the almost nil result of the invention, the opposition went back into the lab and came up with a 'WHAILER'.

The 'whailer' is the most innovative invention of a washed out political class whose determination to resurrect from the wilderness of irrelevance is as strong as the collective determination of Nigerians to ensure Nigeria remain free of such deadly afflictions. The 'whailer' is as dangerous as a wolf in sheep clothing.

To benefit from the tripodal political configuration consisting of the 'hailer', the 'wailer' and the newly born 'whailer' on which Nigeria is precariously balanced one need to understand their characteristics. Characteristically, the 'hailer' is almost always on the defensive; ever untying knotty theories, dissecting lies against the regime, defending actions and highlighting achievements of PMB and occasionally doing same in favor of the ruling APC.

The 'wailer' on the other hand is always on the offensive sometimes even at the risk of jeopardizing his/her intellectual, moral and social make-up. A 'wailer' operates on a default setting of total disagreement and disbelief. He/she jumps into the arena of public discourse even without understanding the topic. With a 'wailer' you never win.

The 'whailer' is the most tricky and dangerous leg of the tripod. He/she is a sheep and wolf. He/she hunt with hounds and run with the hare. A friend and a foe. A 'whailer' is always meticulous in his/her mode of attack and periodically remind the public he/she is a friend on a mission to rescue and assist the regime improve.
His/her style includes generating arguments on topical issues by highlighting complex aspect of a problem which requires better qualification to understand and argue same from the elevation of ignorance yet, with the sophistication of a professional with the simple objective of confusing the gullible. He/she is always there - armed with Google - when Naira devaluation, recession, foreign direct investment (FDI) etc are the topic. His job is to confuse and distract. Now let's get down to business.
