There are men who hardly allow their wives have any say in the day to day running of the home, or on any issue at home. They see their wives as 'subjects' or lesser (and weaker) vessels, that can be trampled upon whenever they feel like. Some of them usually shut their wives up either rudely or indirectly, care less about her opinions/ideas or feelings, and always want her to obey his every word to the later.
