An auto accident involving a truck filled with sand occurred early this morning at Pako Bus Stop, along the Oshodi expressway killing a man. The man we gathered was waiting by the road side before the truck crushed him to death.

The auto accident occurred few minutes past 7:00 am when the road was packed with residents and other roads users who are going by their daily activities. According to eye witness accounts, the driver lost control of the truck after it suffered brake failure before crushing the deceased to death.

Upon realizing he had killed a road user, the driver immediately fled the scene. Road users and other residents have however called on security agencies and Lagos State rescue officials to attend to the deceased.
