They are frequently beset with issues that mean they can either not operate at all or cannot work at full capacity.
In recent years, it became a byword for corruption, a murky, state-run body where billions of dollars in revenue apparently disappeared.

Then they can buy our refined oil. We have an overcapacity.

A new report has revealed that Kenya is splitting from Africa, and will form a new continent with Somalia , Tanzania and half of Ethiopia.
According to the scientists, the Great Rift splits Africa into two tectonic plates; the Nubian plate which carries most of the continent while the smaller Somali plate carries the Horn of Africa region.

I will. I read here and from person about the beauty of Nairobi. I don’t need to say about the wildlife and cultures, because saying Kenya wildlife and cultures are amazing is same as saying Ronaldo is a great player. You guys got it all.

No. I meant precisely the word I used. The aesthetics is just a subset of the general disregard and aversion Nigerians have for humanistic/artistic pursuits. Our religious culture in my opinion contributes to this aversion.

To be honest, I don't think Nigeria's entertainment industry is much to write home about regardless of its popularity on the continent, but I appreciate that's my own personal opinion. Nigerian film-making is nothing short of amateurish. I've watched Charlie Chaplin black-and-white comedy sketches in the 1930's that we are still decades away from coming close to anything like that. The music industry is all style and no substance. There are no Felas around today. People who speak to power in their music and breed social and political consciousness among their listeners, and play musical instruments and add layers of tonal depth to their music. Before Fela even gets to the part of singing, just listen to his instrumental intros to songs like "Lady", "Gentleman", "Water no get enemy", "Zombie", "Go Slow" etc. Nobody does anything like that today. Just studio-generated beats where people with no real musical talent sing empty, soulless lyrics about how many billion they have in their account and anything that comes to mind. They are probably okay if music only exists to make us dance and fool around in parties and clubs, but music is so much more than that, and I find most of the music that dominates the Nigerian airwaves to be soulless.

Thats why Naija songs cant last a month.

No need, the richest man in Africa is building the biggest oil refinery in Africa, 650,000 barrels per day, one of the biggest in the world. It'll be over Nigeria's demand and thus the excess will be exported. It'll be ready in 2019.

He's also building one the largest petrochemical complexes in the world.

There's also another refinery being built(250,000 per day) by another guy.

The plan is that in the next few years, Nigeria will become a major petrochemical and fertilizer hub in Africa.
