freshest4live: In this period of economic recession, please do not wait for the govt to do something. Do something yourself. Start your own Biz. I have decided to help Nigerians by writing an eBook on Mini importation. This is because I know anyone can start with as little as 10k, and make 8x Return on Investment weekly. If u follow my blueprint u can start earning above N250,000 guaranteed. I am giving the eBook for only N2,500 not 15k so nobody will have an excuse. Inside the book u will learn the ff; 1) Where to source for products in China at ridiculous cheap price 2) How to ship to Nigeria without using the conventional method such that u don't have to pay for custom duties and other levies 3)What products sell faster. I actually listed 30 of such hot products in d book 4)Where to sell in Nigeria 5)How to partner with Konga, Jumia and Dealdey for free and sell on their websites 6) how to deliver your products nationwide without leaving your state And lots more. To get it call or WhatsApp 07030637406 Let's proof to Mr President that we are not 1 Like |

I will continue to show you why our 85-88B dollar economy is not cooked - GDP is not nuclear science - it basic addition of production activities multiplied by market prices and all that summed up. The bare minimum ledger. Okay -- 20B dollars worth of Kenya agriculture No 3 ; KENYA HORTICULTURE SECTOR - worth 1-1.5B dollars. Verifiable export data. This consist mainly our flowers, fruits and vegetables - and indeed Kenya is one the horticulture power house of the world. We export 150m metric tonnes of cut flowers. About 1/4 of all flowers sold in Europe are from Kenya. The fruits & vegetable you buy in Europe are mostly likely from Kenya. Avacados especially are growing so fast - South American countries that do this should be worried. Kenya is the flower garden of Europe. https://www.cnn.com/2015/03/16/africa/kenya-flower-industry/index.html And this sectors support some 4.5M people Kenya export tonnes of vegetable - french beans & avacados - are some of most common vegetable exported - meeting European standards without any problem Next time you buy Avacados in Europe - knows it's grown in Kenya 1 Like |

No 4 - Coffee - This used to be kenya biggest export in value and volume - but it's given way to real estate & horticulture - after mismanagement. Value - 500M USD. Kenya coffee are some of best quality coffee you can get out there. It bought and used to blend poor quality coffee. Some of big coffee brands out of Kenya include Dormans and Java House (Kenya's starbuck) Java house - The Africa Starbuck - now all over East Africa selling premier Kenyan coffee. Those are basically some of biggest export oriented agriculture - there are small export in other item give and take another 0.5B worth. So roughly that about 8-9 BILLION dollars worth of export of agriculture. The next 10$ Billion is domestic consumption - Maize,Sugar, Rice, Wheat, Potatos(Irish), Beans, Fishing and Livestock Production (Beef) --- throw in some Chicken+eggs & Pork 2 Likes |
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp20182: 3:54pm On Apr 28, 2018 |
Agricluture for domestic consumption. 1) Maize - Value 1.2-1.5B dollars - about 40M bags at about 30 dollars per bag. This is Kenya staple food. Kenyan produces about 35-45 million bags depending on drought. Nigeria claim to produce lots of maize..but it's real production is about twice kenya - despite having twice the land and 4 times more arable. Nigeria produces I think 6.5M metric tonnes...Kenya produces 3.5M metric tonnes of Maize. Kenya Maize farms - Kenyans applied the most fertilizers in Africa outside South Africa. Because Maize is strategic crop (staple food) - Kenya has strategic Maize reserve - with Maize stored in Large Silos in most towns 2 Likes |

Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by rvp20182: 4:12pm On Apr 28, 2018 |
Sugar Cane - Kenya produce 500-600M metric tonnes - Nigeria is happy with 100M metric tonnes - that is worth 0.5-1B dollars. Potatos (Irish Potato). This is second most important food crop in Kenya after Maize. Annual production of more than 1-2M tonnes. This make the sector worth 0.5-1B dollars. Rice - 360K metric tonnes - worth 200M dollars Wheat - about the same as rice - worth 300M dollars Beans - 500,000-1M metric tonnes - worth about 500M dollars Cattle Production - Kenya has one of Africa largest herd of cows, sheeps and goats - annual production in beef & related 0.5-1B dollars. Banana & other small crops Fishing - Fresh Water & Marine is worth more than 0.5b dollars Forestry - About 3.5% of our GDP - that 3B dollars. Now you can do the addition - and see if you don't have 20b dollars worth of production in agriculture annually. Let Nigeria now shows us the magic of their 150-200B dollar economy in AGRICULTURE. 3 Likes 1 Share |
