How come the USA ranks 43rd on the life expectancy list?

Imagine countries like El Savador and Venezuela where everyone is leaving in droves ranking higher than Brazil.

Failing economies like Greece and Spain rank higher than the US.

Drug ridden Colombia and rebel groups ravaged Libya rank higher than China.
