I am not really into racial tapestry of business ownership but whoever lied to you that black African Kenyans do not dominate the economy - did an injustice to you. Kenyan African began with little ownership at independence - but by 1970s - we had taken over business,land, civil services & name it - mostly through legal (including banning Indians from starting business in many towns) and para-legal (forced acquisition) measures - I mean all business except nascent manufacturing - Indians ran to manufacturing and the last few decades that blacks have entered that industry and are soon going to dominate it too. There hardly any whites in Kenya. The majority you'll see are tourist with their khaki shorts and hats. British companies - MNC - were big - but right now - they have been routed out by Kenya African business.

Every tribe has cultural festivals

It seems like in Kenya, it's mostly the Northern and Eastern Kenyans (Nilotics & Cushitics) who really practice their cultures very well.
