The reasons Ghana is attractive to buisness investors might rightly have to do with Nigeria fear of competition and insecurities. though Ghana is also democratically stable and buisness friendly. few paper work are involve. it is the next big deal in west africa sub region behind Nigeria.

Ghana is currently housing another phase of usa and UK university (Lancaster and Webster). initially the schools target Nigeria but they were turn down due to the fear that it may collapsed the local private university since much more intellectual parent will prefer usa/uk university to the local ones when the fees are almost the same. Ghana is taking this as an opportunity. and that is bringing in lot of hard currency from neigbouring west african stundent who opted for the schools in Ghana.

That's awesome. We have Accra Road in Nairobi and Nkrumah Hall at the University of Nairobi. At independence, all roads in Nairobi were named after African cities and African heroes. It's hard to find a Road with a European name in Nairobi at the moment.

i am aware of it. recently two foreign bank just closed down in Nigeria ( hsfc and ubs ) causing both job and capital loss. while in Ghana, foreign bank are waxing stronger.

At the beginning of this year, CNN published the list of 19 place to vist in 2019. and ghana was placed on fourth position. this is a commendable development from the government. they 're seriously promoting and branding Ghana positively abroad.

if this trend continue, Ghana may soon take the contested position from Nigeria completely.
