Just30: What are you saying son ? There's no connection between Kenya's loans (not debts, learn the difference) and oil market collapse. At the very least I expect you to know that the oil market collapse is a mega boon to us. |

jln115:What is it that they are importing that makes SA irreplaceable as a trade partner? What are they importing from South Africa that when push comes to shove they can't look to another nation for those products. Just because SA is a trading partner doesn't mean that SA is "the" trading partner. |

Kazikazi: Those two teams Simba and Yanga would finish in the bottom ten of the KPL. Did you see them being hammered by Kariobangi Sharks, a minnow in Kenya premier league, yet Simba and Yanga are the creme de la creme of Tz football. https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/sports/article/2001310395/kariobangi-sharks-beat-tanzania-s-yanga-in-thrilling-sportpesa-cup-match https://www.goal.com/en-ke/news/kariobangi-sharks-win-on-penalties-to-set-up-final-date-with/1cztiu26m20qf13uhdqoy5ll03 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsIskxWo7VA |

Mzal3ndo: It was Tz vs SA not SA vs China, duh. The mere fact that you have to bring in China to fight SA shows you that SA is way beyond your league. Was expecting you to tell me to show you what high tech stuff SA produces that Tz does not produce. I would have done so. Instead you are referring me to China. In terms of import sources, 72% of Tanzania’s intra-Africa imports originated from South Africa and Kenya in 2017. In 2018, 69% of Tanzania’s intra-Africa imports originated from South Africa and Kenya. The top imports included iron & steel, sugar, motor vehicles and fertilisers. This is a breakdown of what you import from SA. Electrical, electronic equipment Furniture, lighting signs, prefabricated buildings Machinery, reactors, boilers Toys, games, sports requisites Pharmaceutical products Iron or steel products 1 Like |

tylann: You are right, SA does have more to offer economically, but only a fool would say that Tanzania has nothing to offer. Tanzania is currently on an industrialization drive and with that most of the items that these countries are importing from South Africa will be imported from Tanzania. Items such as sugar, steel and iron together with fertilizers which are South Africa's major export to these countries will be available from Tanzania and if you refer to your elementary school geography you will see why they will trade with Tanzania. |

Mzal3ndo: Im shocked you think you can compete with SA outside of Tz borders when you cant even compete with them inside your borders. Your priorities are wrong. Start by beating them at home. |

Mzal3ndo: No it will take time a very long time for you to industrialize as you are saying to start selling those goods to Drc and Zambia and I doubt they will be waiting for you Sharing borders means nothing when you have nothing to trade with them |

TayserMahrii: My argument isn't Tanzania vs SA economically rather opposing the statement that SADC can't survive with out SA. I'm not an idiot, I read the reports and I understand the numbers. I know that we trade a lot with South Africa and Kenya and i know that Tanzania and SADC in general by a large percent does not have the industrial capacity to currently fully sustain herself and even when I'm high, stoned and wasted at the same time would never say that Tanzania can challenge SA economically any time soon. My argument is that when you remove SA from SADC, SADC still has options. We trade with South Africa because of the historical ties between SA and TZ, being a member of the same regional block and it is quicker to transport goods from South Africa (1 week max) than China (about a month). And that is the same case with SADC. The problem with you guys is that you look at the data and think because of your trade volume SADC would suffer without SA, forgetting that SADC has other options rather than SA. It might be a bit costly in terms of time but it is still an option. That's why when I asked you to name one item that SA offers that we can't get from a trade partner such as China you diverted not to answer because you know that there is nothing made in SA that we can't get if from someone else. |

pic 1 & 2- Matsirga Waterfalls situated in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, combines four different natural funnels. Matsirga waterfalls are situated in Madakiya, close to Kafanchan, about 227 kilometers south of Kaduna, the water at Matsiriga waterfalls drops 30 meters into a gorge that has been supported by beautiful rocks. The fresh cool breeze around the area has something to offer to tourists. At the point of impact with the river, the cascading showers of the fall create a rainbow-like mist that appears and disappears mysteriously. The river formed by Matsirga Waterfalls increases with the rainy season, overflowing its banks. A natural rock shelter at the river bank forms a cover and relaxing place for picnicking. Like a half umbrella, it provides shade for tourists amidst the amazing continuous waterfall. PIC 3- 4 - Kajuru Castle is a luxury villa, built between the years 1981 and 1989, at Kajuru village in Kaduna State, Nigeria.[1] It was built by a German expatriate in Nigeria, living in Kaduna at the time.[2] The castle is located at about 45 Km from Kaduna on a mountaintop in Kajuru village, Kaduna state. Built with 1 meter thick granite stone in a fanciful medieval-inspired Romanesque style, it is adorned with turrets, an armory and a dungeon. The castle is privately owned, and has the capacity to contain 150 guests. 1 Like 1 Share

In 2006,Govt approved N30.5bn for the construction of a 500km dual-carriage way linking Kano-Jigawa-Bauchi-Yobe-Borno. The contractors(CGC) received only N3.3bn and quit work in 2010. In 2017, Fashola rewarded it and contractors have returned to work with great progress achieved. 2 Likes
