The Federal Republic of Nigeria on Thursday, April 16, tested some 6,649 blood samples for coronavirus.

The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in a tweet on Friday, April 17.

In the tweet seen by DGN Online, NCDC says there were no new cases recorded on April 16.

It says the total number of States affected in Nigeria remains 20 (19 States + FCT).

Some of the states include Lagos, Ondo, Oyo, Ogun, Edo, Ekiti, Benue, Anambra, Kano, Osun, Katsina, Enugu, Niger.

Thank for this jare.

We have increase our testing rate since the lockdown was extended, and we are seeing a rise in the number of cases..

Maybe we are approaching our peak..

Has Ghana reached its peak yet??

In terms of total wealth; i.e private wealth held by all the individuals living in each country, including all assets such as property, cash, equities and business interests less any liabilities, and also in terms of GDP. Ghana is like a small dyck.
hahaha

You mean Individual wealth that are held in Switzerland and other tax havens ?

common, you are smarter than this grin grin

Your country is dem poorer than Ghana

How can 6 k cases return zero positives? Use your brain ghananina. Unless they are so poor in terms of targeted testing.

yeah, it depends on pressure for covid test in a day.
Initially we used to test those in quarantine place alone.
We advanced a little bit to various public and private hospita .
Currently we're advanced the testing to matatus.

That's good .
Maybe in a few days, the number of cases in Kenya will increase...

Yes it seems so

testing is decreasing because the number of cases being reported has gone down

How many have you tested so far? The table shared by vaxx few days ago showed you jostling for space with the nobodies down there. Why didnt you use the ebola skills to rack up the tests. You should have been at the forefront of the fight. By today we have tested I think around 11 or 12 k. Capacity keeps being boosted.

Why don't you check the latest update yourself ??
Yesterday we tested over 6k samples ..if u add it to the ones on the table vaxx shared, that's over 11k already...if u add that of today,we will be close to 20k..

We have increased the rate of testing...

That's not enough criteria for ranking a country's wealth..

How about GDP per capita? cool

We had this debate before. Mineral resources like oil and gold skew per capita.

Always playing catch up. I'll believe when I see the next updated report when prof posts it. How would 6,000 tests return zero positive cases? Who are you testing? Maybe we have different approaches. The way the Kenyan testing is being done its almost impossible to get zero positives even in a small sample of 50. The ministry is testing those in quarantine and their contacts.

Its not the job of individuals to help the govt do its job, and kenyan individuals have raised 1 B already.

The richest men in the world invest and own property in Kenya, what are you talking about? Kenyans stopped stashing money overseas in 2002. Who owns property in tiny unbuilt Ghana?

there is no upgrade

Kenya is only doing 200 to 600 tests per day

Nigeria did 6,000plus test yesterday
go to live covid- updates.
You claimed to back your nonsense with a link which am yet to see.
So you madly want to place Nigeria ahead of kenya in mass testing and Ghana far ahead of Nigeria.??
You're not smart, kenya will soon overtake you

In sane countries, responsible citizens are the ones doing the job while the government lead the policy.

You are yet to ,mention one richest man that own property in Kenya

yes nothing

I can believe for tiny Ghana. Not Nigeria who had their first case so long ago and the dense population. Either the 6 k tests are fake to save face, or they are hiding the true positives, or more still they are testing the wrong people.
