Talk is cheap. Don't show a video of road. Show us aerial pictures. All we see is Aso rock - and few empty gov offices. And the roads.

Lol I have never seen such stupidity all my life...I doubt if you watched that video..it is possible you only watch the first 1 minute that showed a long stretch of roads and trees..go on you haven't gotten to the best part grin

Aerial views can be deceptive with marvellous editing skills to mask your smelly mess..for instance 92% of nairobi pics ever posted here is super edited..you want to see the real nairobi then visit YouTube ..and you will see the mess in all her glory grin..trust me you will be gobsmacked.

I do videos cos it shows what that deceptive aerial view would never show which is what we have on ground...now go back, take your time to watch that video then digest the bitter fact that Mombasa is a butt of joke to be compared to Enugu talkless of Super Abuja grin

Dream on. Mombasa has for now forever overtake combined two Lagos port - Apapa and Tin can - and is at 35M tonnes per year and 1.4M containers - aiming for Durban - who does 72M tonnes - and 2.7M containers annually. SGR has made Mombasas very efficient - is starting to compete with Durban and likes of Singapore on efficiency...a ships docks and within a few hours..has it's cargo evacuated to Nairobi..some 500kms!!

Mombasa port last year crossed revenues about 0.5B dollars.

Meanwhile a container in Lagos port - takes a whole month to navigate out of the port. The ship similarly takes a month to empty the container. The congestions and efficiency is, without doubt, the world worst.

Heckling, as usual, will not stop us from highlighting facts. Facts are very stubborn things. The fact is Lagos port complex - two ports - were doing 1.2-1.3M - while Mombasa is doing 1.4M TEUS - and in tonnes, we did nearly 35M.

You cannot beat that even if you bring Lekki Deep sea that you're bragging about Chinese investment.

Projection is a bad thing. Here you come happy with Chinese taking over your deep sea - and while Mombasa port - continues to shine - as Chinese investment in our SGR pays off.

You already failed to bring Abuja pictures and we are supposed to wait for marine traffic - in SSA - Mombasa is now firmly now 2 - after Durban. In Africa - you have 2 or 3 ports in Egypt and Morroco better than her. Your Lagos ports are down and out. Not only in cargo throughput - but also efficiency (always been last).
