The definition of slums varies. Slumscrapper are slum. KANO is a slum. Please check UNHABITAT.

Nairobi slums - these total shanties - iron roof west africa kind - the biggest Kibera has maybe 150K people - then Mathare - name them - max would be about 600K people.

Now Eastland (including all slums except for Kibera/Kangemi - few slums on west side of Nairobi)- Concrete jungle of Nairobi - slumscrappers - 2 out 3 Nairobi live here - about 3M out 4.5M of Nairobi.

Umoja, Roysambu, Pipeline - are concrete slums.

The definition is based on DEVELOPED CITY STANDARDs. NOT nigeria standards.

You entire cities are slumspolis..99%.

Hmm , u totally leave in a different world from most Kenyans, do u even know that Nairobi alone has over 40 slums?.
The same unhabitate u quoted have this to say
"Existing figures are compelling evidence of the dire situation in many of
Kenya’s urban centres. Depending on the city, 60 to 80 percent of Kenya’s
urban population lives in slums characterised by lack of access to water and
sanitation, adequate housing, and secure tenure, and where many experience
acute security and health problems and are dependent on the informal sec￾tor for survival. For instance, in Nairobi, 60 percent of the population lives in
slums that occupy only 5 percent of the total land area of the city. The growth
of these slums is unprecedented, with the number of slum dwellers expected
to double within the next 15 years. Only 22 percent of slum households in
Nairobi has water connections, while 75 percent accesses water through
water vendors who overcharge,
making slum dwellers pay more for their
water than people living in middle- or high-income areas. The provision of
sanitary services is also inadequate and the use of open spaces and “flying
toilets” is common. In places like Kibera, poor environmental sanitation leads
to waterborne and vectorial diseases such as diarrhoea and malaria. Epidem￾ics such as cholera and typhoid are occurring with greater frequency.
This grim reality provides the persuasive justification for slum upgrading
initiatives in the country aimed at improving living conditions"

I am desperately trying to help level the ground - 60ksm in any direction from Nairobi - no Ghana estate can compete. The Nairobi proper is giving South Africans headache.

East Legon cannot compete with Kitengala.

Easy bring the best of east legon - and I give the best of Kitengela.

Akosombo is a beautiful area with very good roads

Your kitengela is a slum

I wont even dignify it to compare it to East Legon especially when Runda, Karen and the European settlement of muthiaga combine cant match up to East Legon.

Your first class neighbourhood of Muthiaga has terrible roads.

Nigga, Nigeria is far more than what u imagine, I swear to God, Kenya can never get to Development level of Nigeria,
Let us compare the Kitengela or any other parts of Nairobi out side the CBD with one of the poorest state in Nigeria, Yola, Adamawa

Bellow vidoe is a road trip from residential areas to the commercial parts of Yola in Adamawa state, the comparison should start from there

Very small - 40km to 60km - are your crazy.
Nairobi radius of 40km is almost completely built up. That is HUGE.
The 60kms is starting to get filled up. That would make it 10,000Kms. That is nearly ten times Lagos city. 3 times the state

At least we are talking only the roads - and we get to South Africa standards. For you - start with electricity. At least Ghana is on step 2. Although honestly like rwanda did - they need to demolish like 3/4 of their current cities. - and rebuild a fresh. It not possible to say fix roads like Nairobi and kaboom you're developed. It nuking the entire slumpolis down.

Ghanaian communities dont compete with slums

Go seek attention from somewhere else.

Your cities dont even have water supply
Yet you want to compare yourself to a rich Ghana that supplies every part of the majority of it cities and even villages with water.
