Even the Andela was cofounded by a Nigerian. That's why it started in Lagos. So what's your point?

Good job for McRae and his Ford Fiesta R3. Never mind he lost 17 mins stuck in the unforgiving snow and still got a podium finish. The dude is an Einstein of sorts in his art. Reminds me at the African Rally Championship last year it was a clean Kenyan sweep. Kenya is definitely the greatest rally country in Africa, bar none!

Iyinoluwa Samuel Aboyeji is the co-founder of Andela
Bs... Andela was a Zuckerberg initiative. We also have that company in Kenya, a subsidiary from America, it has nothing to do with Nigeria.

If we go generaldae's way, tracing the history, you'll notice that everything to do with tech at the end of the day has something to do with whites.

Even if the CEO is black, the company's key technical teams are Indians and whites.

My guy, focus.

Who is Andela's CEO? A white or a Nigerian?

A simple answer will suffice.

•Top tech/startup to watch for in Nigeria 2022.
https://nigeria.startuphrtoolkit.com/top-startups-in-nigeria/

Out of 31 tech companies to watch out for in Nigeria, only two are owned by foreigners.

•Top tech/startup to watch for in Kenya as at June 2021. https://startupstash.com/kenyan-startups/

Out of 21 tech companies to watch for last year in Kenya, only 9 Kenyans can be found, most are owned by foreigners.

Ur reason for deflection isn't far fetched.

Compare apples with apples.

2021 source for 2021.

Even before hitting a search button, I can tell lies all over your posts. You seem to be desperate.

MTN, Andela, Google software, etc are all the thriving tech in Nigeria owned by foreigners.

And please, next time don't come with guesswork.

You are conflating two things here. All four of our tech startups with Unicorn status such as Flutterwave, Interswitch, Jumia, Andela, Opay, etc have Nigerian founders or cofounders. The funding mostly comes from abroad, of course I would give you that.

However, apart from Google and MTN on your list, it's not a case of mostly foreigners coming in to create tech from scratch here. Remember you have India has a 46th tribe and you have more White Westerners going into East and Southern Africa than West Africa.

Flutterwave- A Nigerian was the founder. Jumia- Nigerians were initially involved before selling most of their shares.
Andela- was cofounded by a Nigerian, Interswitch- was founded and still maintained by a Nigerian,
Opay-same thing, etc.

The reason we don't have many white founders like Kenya ( though we have mainly white funding like Kenya) is that unlike Kenya, we have always been the most travelled group from the continent, hence the most educated black immigrants in the U.K and U.S.
Even without the Diaspora, there are a good number of tech startups founded by purely Nigerian based founders.

Since we are on the topic of rallying...

Toyota Gazoo racing South Africa won its second dakar rally in January with Nasser Al Attiyah at the wheel.... Its also Nassers second win with the team (4th overall) , the first being in 2019....Team mate Giniel de Villiers was 5th....his 14th straight top 10 finish... He also has a record of 18/19 top 10 finishes in his Dakar career... With his single none top 10 finish being an 11th place in 2007 he also won the Dakar in 2009 and has placed on the podium on 8 occasions making him easily the most consistent driver on the Dakar

People in Nigeria are dying of Hunger and starvation, Benin Republic Togo Niger South Africa Botswana Kenya Tanzania Uganda all produce more food than Nigeria. You make noise old and good see when you're people at died of hunger as the fishing on a daily basis. You make noise of tech startups when you have no petrol or fuel including electricity go and check your brain and skull.

it's absurd, no matter how u try to swing it, it always fall back on u, yet, u asked for apple-to-apple comparison but u ended up uprooting a source of "foreign" investment startups in Nigeria while I dug out ur local startups for u.

Well, ur link is about foreign investment in Nigeria and won't pass in our discussion, try to bring out Nigerian startups and compare with Kenyan startups that dominated by foreigners right opposite u in Kenya.

Super Ultra modern tech startup and also take hud of the futurem. Nigeria is now the Tech giant of the World Tech giant in producing hunger. Everybody can now see that my nation is a Hunger giant with starving people. In 2020 we were Rank 98 in Hunger, today we are ranked 103 only a Hunger Republic

Please what startups do Nigeria have is it the borrowing money lack of view hunger no electricity no future and starvation please can you explain to me what started are you talking about if startup cannot lift the economic situation of the country what good are they. A lot of Nigerian companies like dangote adjust to destroy Nigeria's economy not to make it progress

Such a mental case.. imagine it's very hard for an average Ghanaian to see or touch 1000 cedis after all, how much did your father made from running a lotto kiosk which is the biggest business a Ghanaian can start. You see how you're low key telling me the story of your life.. send me your number so I can send you momo to buy food with. Ghana has become a shiithole, banana republic owned my the IMF administered by pumped balloons cookies data always to look good before the true owners of the land and people on it —IMF

When a hungry dog barks everybody knows it is backing for food when is starving dog barks it is vicious. Your major problem is you are starving and do not know it. You can try getting the indomie hungry man's Park. This would definitely call you down at your stress levels. The biggest business in Ghana today from what my friends tell me there is export. There is no business as profitable in Ghana today as export. Cocoa prices are skyrocketing coffee prices are going up tea prices are going up I know Kenya will benefit from this . Most foodstuff prices including grains are going up even the price of pineapple has now increased by 25% on international market. Just look at it if you produce the same amount you will get 25% more money this year what else is better. I wish you are not borrowing money to pump oil. Because of the huge time difference with Brazil it is difficult for me to come on this forum. In the daytime I am extremely busy
